Art Therapy works well with a variety of people with disabilities, trauma affected, mental health and illness, special needs, palliative care, addiction, etc.
Art Therapy begins where verbal expression stops. Art is an expression of your inner experience: your perceptions, feelings, and imagination. Unlike in an art class where we are expected to better our presentation, in an Art Therapy session, the primary expectation is to dip into your inner world, encounter, acknowledge and express it. Art is dynamic and requires one to participate in one’s own therapy through art creativity and creation !!
